This is a sister project to Slugbotics.

Through a partnership with UCSC’s Cyber Physical Systems Research Center, Formula 1/10 is working on innovation in self-driving automobile technology which should help to make driving more efficient and accessible. The team is gearing up for the Formula 1/10 competition

Goals and Impacts:

F1Tenth works on autonomous driving at the RC car scale. They use advanced sensor control and LiDAR technology, and allows students to learn about autonomous driving at a higher level than what is traditionally offered at the university. F1/10th students have a higher chance of jobs/internships at self-driving companies like Tesla, Starship, and Waymo.
